More good news to be cherished! Remember back in March when Fatimah wrote her very first poem at school? As you know, her teacher had sent out Fatimah’s poem to a Young Writer’s competition - and it got selected! Well, the long awaited moment is finally here...Fatimah’s First Poem has been published! MashaAllah, we’re so proud of you, Fatimah! Guess now you’re officially our petite poet!
FATIMAH’S FIRST POEM

My name is Fatimah and I’d like to say,
Thank you Daddy, you make my day.
I miss you when I go to preschool,
But I play with Helen, who is really cool
Thank you for my chocolate, the best present I ever got,
I appreciate everything you do, which is a lot.
Thank you for cooking rice and chicken,
my favourite thing to eat,
When we play rabbit jump it’s such a treat.
I love it when we watch CBeebies together,
I know that we’ll be friends forever.
So don’t be sad when I’m elsewhere,
Just read this poem and I’ll be there.
Thank you Daddy, for all that you do,
This, my first poem, is just for you.
